Killzone 3 PS3 Invites Are Going Out, 1.3GB Beta Download

While it's already been confirmed that the Killzone 3 PS3 Beta won't include PlayStation Move nor 3D support, today several videogame sites including Meodia.com (linked above) and http://www.gamersdigest.net/457/killzone-3-closed-beta-has-begun have received invites and report that testers can expect a 1.3GB download.

To quote: "Several people have confirmed receiving an invitation to a private beta which begins tomorrow, you can find a excerpt from one of these emails a tester has posted online.

Dear Beta Tester,

The follow-up to one of the most critically acclaimed first-person shooters of 2009, Killzone 3, picks up where Killzone 2 left off delivering new weapons and enemies, larger set pieces and environments, more varied missions and a whole new level of intense cinematic action.

In the Beta you will get a taste of the multiplayer mode, including the all-new Operations game type, party system and jetpack and exoskeleton vehicles.

The aim of the Beta Trial is threefold:

- To collect your feedback
- Identify bugs, cheats and exploits
