inFamous 2 for PS3 in Development, Confirmed By Voice Actor

Although Sucker Punch hasn't responded to this yet, it appears work is already underway on an inFamous sequel for Sony's PS3 console.

Speaking on his Twitter page, David Sullivan today http://twitter.com/_david_sullivan/status/4835089986 (now removed) the existence of inFamous 2, with Cole being recast.

To quote: "First voiceover/motion capture audition today for a video game. Re-casting of Cole in the sequel of Infamous. "I'll melt your face."

Actress Yvette Nicole Brown (who voiced Moya) later http://twitter.com/yvettenbrown to Sullivan, claiming he "would be awesome as Cole".

With voice-over auditions currently going on, the game won't be released or shown for quite some time. The question that will sit in the mind of gamers now will be when and where will Sony and Sucker Punch showoff the inFamous sequel.

would love a infamous 2 the first one is prob my fav game of the year. I could not put that down. I def would buy this when it comes out. would be cool if it could have some kind of co-op or online play this time so we could get a bit more life out of the game.

InFamous was a lot of fun. I figured they were working on I2 since they put up an ad looking for a modeler with knowledge of "urban fashion" a while back, but it's nice to hear more confirmation. InFamous was my first day-1 purchase and I'm pretty confident I2 will be another.

well only a matter of time i can't wait for killzone 3 because games usually get better unlike Battlefield and Need For Speed but yea Infamous 2 can't wait for more info BTW POST 100!
