    Exclamation Dump BluRay in Ubuntu?

Is there a way to dump BluRay movies in Ubuntu 7.04 by typing a simple commandz? I tried typing dd if=/dev/cdrom of=/blu-raymovie.iso in the terminal, but it said "permission denied". Does that only work in ydl?

Theres a Sticky on how to do this on YDL, the process should be similar on Ubuntu. But I think you'll have to compile a UDF2.5 patched kernel for Ubuntu your self. I'm no expert in linux so take my answer with a pinch of salt.

Just to confirm that dd works with sudo on both Kubuntu and Knoppix - thanks!
