I actually plan to pick this up for the movie, since District 9 is one of the best movies I have seen in years.

The GOW3 demo is probably useless to me though. Does anyone know if it will contain a firmware update (I'm still on 2.2 or something). For that matter, does the movie somehow require a firmware update?

i got this yesterday. the gow3 demo is 3gb and takes 5-6 minutes to install. if you want the demo but not the movie rent it. no firmware update.
