Did you upgrade to firmware 3.01 and why you did?

As in the title i would like to know who ran the upgrade and why and if there are any issues with the upgrade or the post-upgrade situation of your ps3. (e.g. I've upgraded to firm 3.01 because i couldn't play Uncharted, now it's just goes all right.)

i upgraded to 3.01 as my bbc iplayer was freezing on me and now its working perfectly also my killzone 2 was freezing too.

Done, and yea.. only Admins can create polls, but all registered users can vote on them. I placed my vote!

the update is not mandatory so i dont know if you will see a prompt. I wasnt having any issues but I updated anyway cause I am crazy like that.

I upgraded this morning. Uncharted works now, but I haven't tried anything else out. Seems fine though.

According to Sony, YES... you will still have the OtherOS on your "fat" PS3 even after upgrading the Firmware.
