February 8, 2007 - During his DICE keynote speech, Sony Worldwide Studios President Phil Harrison revealed that one of the games that he's been playing lately is a brand new PlayStation Store EDI known as http://ps3.ign.com/objects/883/883931.html. Previously unannounced until today, Super Rub Dub is a Monkey Ball-type experience that allows users to slant and manipulate the world around their "hero duck" so that they can reach the exit.
What makes Super Rub Dub particularly interesting is that it won't use the face buttons to control the action at all -- it's powered entirely by the Sixaxis' title function.
"People think I love ducks," Harrison joked as he demoed the downloadable game on stage. "But really, this is just a coincidence."
IGN attempted to contact Sony representatives for further comment on Super Rub Dub but they did not return our phone calls as of press time. Expect to see a more detailed eyes-on preview, however, later this afternoon.
