May 2, 2007 - PS3 network addicts will get their opportunity to play Calling All Cars -- it's an inevitability; unfortunately, they won't be playing it this week.
Representatives from Sony Computer Entertainment confirmed with IGN today that David Jaffe's first downloadable actioner is "still going through the QA [quality assurance] process and that it won't be available for download on May 3."
Originally, Calling All Cars was expected to appear on the PlayStation Network tomorrow afternoon, but the development team at Incognito decided to make a few last-minute tweaks based on feedback provided by reviewers posted last week.
We asked Sony for a realistic release window, but company spokespeople weren't ready to commit yet. At the bare minimum, though, it won't see release until at least May 10.
