Blizzard Entertainment: Try Diablo III on PS3 for Free Today!
Blizzard Entertainment's Ulvareth of the Community Team announced that fans can try Diablo III on PS3 for free today!
To quote: Greetings PlayStation gamers! It's been a week since Diablo III launched on PlayStation 3 to some very positive reviews.
If you've yet to pick up your controllers and join the epic struggle between the High Heavens and the Burning Hells, we've got great news for you: the [Register or Login to view links] of Diablo III is now available for download from the PlayStation Store!
In this demo, you can take control of two of Sanctuary's most iconic heroes, the mighty Barbarian or the mysterious Wizard, and fight your way through hordes of demons to reach the Skeleton King.
Slaying demons is a lot of fun, especially when you're playing with your buddies, so we're happy to let you know that most multiplayer features are available for you to try in the demo version. This includes local same-screen co-op and online play with your PlayStation Network friends who also have the demo version.
If you enjoy the hack-and-slash experience, you can upgrade online to the full version of [Register or Login to view links] or purchase a physical copy from a retail store.
This will allow you to unlock three additional badass heroes - Monk, Demon Hunter, and Witch Doctor - and continue your epic adventure in the Diablo universe. You can even pick up where you left off and carry your demo character over to the full version.
Head to the PlayStation Network now, grab the demo, and start slaying some demons. We'll see you in Hell!
Played D3 1st time yesterday with the wife. Pretty fun co-op, should be cool with 4 local players too. As close as you can get to the Baldurs Gate/Champions of Norrath series these days, so i voted with my wallet and bought the game to support more future multiplayer games.
Surprisinglyhappy with it so far, and we still have 2 other characters we haven't tried yet, next time on harder nightmare mode. Enjoy games with some replay value.
