[IMGW]http://media.1up.com/media?id=3264888[/IMGW] Game Informer recently had a big cover story on Grand Theft Auto IV, and while waiting for more from Rockstar Games fans are desperate to lap up any information on the game. Up on GTAIV.net (via Kotaku) is a 25-question interview with GameInformer's Andrew Reiner, who experienced a scintillating 15-minute demo of the game. The full Q&A has a lot of questions with very few solid answers, but we've rounded up some highlights for you.
Right off the bat, Reiner confirms there will be flying in the game at least in the form of helicopters. Planes are definitely out, though, as "this is just one city and a plane really doesn't fit into that very well for gameplay." Property purchasing will also probably be handled differently than in previous GTA titles, with Rockstar vice president Dan Houser remarking that "this isn't a game of real estate, or from rags to riches." The eating and working out to change your appearance elements of San Andreas seems to have been removed from this iteration, but there will be girlfriends again.
The camera angle for driving has apparently been changed to be "more like Midnight Club." Graphically, the demo was apparently a visible step up from the trailer, with more polish apparent.
All you info-hungry GTA fans, keep your eyes peeled. More will be coming as we head into the summer months and towards GTAIV's fall release.
