You got me there I didn't think too much about it as it seems. But I don't think that you need to use brackets when saying that Linux is common, just look how widespread Ubuntu has become

Yes linux is a common os but it is also an open source with many different distros. I think what was intended to be said is operating systems like Windows or the Mac OS wont run on the PS3 unless you use an emulated environment through linux in which case they run slow as doodoo.

You can't compare the Reality Synthesizer to the equivalent PC card, since the PC card has a larger market whereas the Synthesizer is made for use only in the PS3, so costs are going to be higher, in this table we are also looking at single units and in bulk the price will be less, hence this table is probably wrong and I doubt Sony is loosing any money on the PS3 right now.
