PS-SYSTEM 306R Suspected to be Cause of Dead PS3 3.00 Drives

I feel that Sony let me and whom ever else down with this formware update. This is the real problem. can't play blueray... but you can play SoCom. You can play dvd rom movies and games. 3.0 jacked up playstations by freezing them. This is what I think.

Uncharted was the reason for 3.01 now I wonder what they did to fix the problems with uncharted. What ever they did maxed out our BD drives. My lens is still good, linux says it's good and a repair guy says that the BD drive is in good working order, so then whats the problem? It's big... but will get even bigger because we closed our eyes!

i dont know if my problem is what you want to find out.

i played tekken6, 40gb cechg04, never opened or anything. screen went black on loading a stage(played before some days without problem) now he dont read blue rays or anything else.

i updated to 3.01 after my tekken6 told me to.

my saturn mate told me its my problem because my ps3 is older then 1and a half year q.q... 469@ of crap now standing left of my tv...

1) If they had a disc in the drive during the update, if so, what was in there.

2) Did they use the PSN store prior to (in the same session, as in, between the power on and upgrade) the FW upgrade?
Nope

3) Did they play a downloaded game from the PSN store prior to (in the same session, as in, between the power on and upgrade) the upgrade?
Nope, just upgraded

4) What model number of PS3 console they had?
model number cechb01, 20gb from launch date release.

Finally, please NOTE we are only seeking consoles that have NOT been tampered with... meaning no warranty sticker, no good to us.
My warranty sticker is still sealed

Also it did read DVDs after the firmware it just stop doing that watched about 3 movies and it doesn't even spin the disc anymore.
