It shows nothing under there unless I don't enter a username, in which case it says

mount: Mounting //192.168.0.164/SharedDocs on /mnt/network failed: Invalid argument

Also I believe the Httpd error was caused by not entering a password.

I guess I dont understand how it has nothing to do with that since you can transfer stuff from your ps3 to your PC with this program... but ok thanks..

Indeed, try setting a password and retrying it, if you dont mind

Rawdog- Its one way, we cant access the PS3OS side of the HDD yet, only the OTHEROS side!

Here's the setup:

PS3 is connected to the router via cable.
I'm now logged in as "Administrator" in safe mode instead of "Tyler" Even though Tyler is the administrative account.
My "Administrator" account has a password and I've tried it and still no go.

Yes, it auto-creates the .iso, just make a file name (ie THPS8)

The BETA's got the name from the DISK NAME, but many are just named "PS3VOLUME" = a bit confusing!

Can I install it alongside YDL?

CJ, Can I install this alongside YDL which I've already got on there? (may seem like a silly question, but I'd rather not nuke my YDL install since it took a godawful amount of time to install)

Thanks

Yeah, it is slow (use gigabit ethernet maybe? Longshot on that, but cant the PS3 do it?)

Great that its working however! lv128, yes you can, just when you need to go back to YDL, reinstall the otheros.bld from YDL!

In the PS3, there is an option for backing up the HDD (its in there somewhere) you can back it up to an external drive (thumbdrive, fat32 formatted HDD etc!)

O.K. I don't know if this helps but I can copy every file on the disk individually except for BDMV\STREAM\00000.m2ts. All the other m2ts files in the folder still copy. Hope this helps.

Edit: Sorry forgot to say what the error said. Here it is:

Internet Explorer cannot download 00000.m2ts from 192.168.0.167.
The supplied HTTP header is invalid
