Awesome CJPC just as I expected when I saw a post of your's before I even wrote my UDF 2.5 guide. Amazing job, it goes beyond what I expected though with setting the PS3 up as server (http:\\your PS3 IP), if you have anything you need done and don't have time for, or need a debugger, let me know; you know how to get in touch.

I can add a modified BackupBluRay v.21 to the SAK; one that searches the external hard-drive for the CPS key.config file. Also, some time after the release of the Paradox loader (hopefuly next month), depending on the abilities of the loader, I will port BackupBluRay to C (seeing as how the only one who probably knows more about the program than me is mulix64) (I know CJPC likes C )

Amazing works, CJPC. Access the Windows Network Share via the wired network is gonna to be my #1 pick feature. Imagine yourself filling up the PS3 internal hdd in a few days once the Loader is out. Personally, I don't like an 3.5" 750G hdd attached like a fixture to my PS3. Notebook hdd's are too small in capacity and too expensive in price.

Great job on the program. I don't know if this is possible but could you add PS3 controller support instead of just USB keyboard, seeing as how I only have PS/2 keyboards (not to be mistaken with "PS2" keyboards if there's such a thing).

If you click the download link it goes to an area that tells you everything about it.
It basically is an application that does everything PS3 that we have been able to do with linux (aside from decrypt BluRay movies)(Which I bet can easily be added)

No, it does not play iSO's, its really a Backup Tool.

Hacked, thanks, thats exactically why I was a bit quiet, sorry, but why a C++ port of BackupBluRay would rock (cant fit java into 4mb, yet!)

The issue with different otheros.bld's is the fact that they are all made different (one for fedora, gentoo YDL) but I will look into it (maybe can place a selector before the differences diverge, for a later rls!)

PS3 Controller support is a good idea, why for now theres a HTTP server (if you dont have a USB keyboard)

matthijsfoekema -> The flash is at /dev/sdb, and isnt readable because well, it can break easy (simple reset fixes, but only has this program, and video settings etc!)

SAK drive space, if you have an external drive, only allocate 10gb for Otheros, if you want to use your PS3HDD (and have a 60gb +), allocate as much as possible (to backup to your hdd)

Mind you, you do NOT need a seperate partition, the SAK will use the current partition thats there (linux etc), if there is enough free space (or, you dont even have to use it, it runs in ram!)

CJPC is there somewhere/can you direct me to where I can find information on making the otherOS.bld?
Apparently you know how to do it...lol

1- You should be able to, if it works on a PC, it should work on the PS3

2- Alas, it needs to be reformatted to EXT3 , or FAT32 (or use the network dumping stuff), if not, follow the linux install faq, then hacked2123's tutorial for kernel rebuilding to add ntfs support.

3- The program can do that, hit F

4- For backing up games, no, but for normal linux operations (ie if you wanted it for a media player etc) then yes, you could install YDL
