I don´t know if it´s been mentioned. BreakerPro 1.1 boots up on 1.5 Pal Ps3. So I guess psx backups should also work this way. Ps2 dvdrips also. SwapMagic 2.0, cd+dvd, Dvd regionX, ActionReplay2 cd and psx disc didn´t boot up on 1.5 Pal.

The Swap method, and the tutorial are very nice. You will need at least one original title for the trick. I also though a small trick for both (not in the same time) working the switch and the eject button of the ps3, which i may post up later.

What about regions? Swapmagic does really work (ntsc/j to pal/ntsc-us)? because i have a jap ps3, which is ntsc/j and i don't have ever an ntsc/j title.

Just Right Click the file and choose Open With then select your favourite txt editor such as Notepad.exe

I've done the swap tutorial with the switch and if I new it was so easy I would of done it along time ago. Got some detailed pics while doing it so if anyone wants them i'll put them up.

You just need 1 original PS2 game for it to work. So with my PS2 being Jap, I had to get a Jap PS2 game. I can now play all my original PAL PS2 games as well as backup games and NTSC games on the Jap console.

Cheers

My unit is updated to 1.51 personally. So I know Swapmagic will not load with my console. I do have PS2 action replay Max with the maxdrive which I used for the PS2 exploit. Now is there any way that this could possibly be used for the swap trick as opposed to swapmagic?

Anyone with the unit already opened care to test?
