Nice to hear! I believe his latest build (not released yet) also may include ECC calculation from RPS... so good things are definitely ahead, and props to NDT indeed!
Yeah, it was the ECC that were screwed on one NAND, thanks to RPS now we have the algo fully working.
Soon we'll release the new flowrebuilder that include the ECC recalculation so people can try their own firmware patches
Congratulations NDT !! Way to go man I have a question though.. Does this mean that we can edit the firmware PUP files now, and they will still be valid, as far as the PS3 checks are concerned ... leading to Custom PS3 firmwares ??
Now that the ECC has been figured out, does that mean we're now that much closer to "opening" the PS3? I'm not to familiar with NANDS and all this other good stuff associated with the PS3... I'm glad to hear NDT is still working on their stuff!
cool beans, so does this only work if you have a infectus chip? sorry for the noob question, but i would like to know if a infectus is a smart investment....
