What WEB Browser do you use and why?


Im using Firefox 2.0.

At work our systems are win 2000 SP4 and I needed tabbed browsing there for the sites I need always open and IE7 doesnt run on win 2000. I now switched to Firefox 2 at home cause I started fooling around with extensions and stuff.

I find IE renders many pages better though.

Not a big deal, it fits here too.

I use IE6 mostly. The reason is a combination of the very low memory usage, fast startup, integration with explorer and my habit of clicking the blue "e" on the taskbar. Firefox is nice, I use it from time to time with certain extentions like video downloader and downloadthemall, but I prefer IE6 for the reasons above. I don't like IE7. The interface is just plain wierd.

I just switched back to IE6 dues too too many rendering errors on sites using firefox 2 and not liking ie7.

I use good old IE6 its never let me down and i have quite a slow connection too.
And i use it to look at pictures, (ahem porn), movies, and other stuff you normally do on a web browser.
And this is a odd topic why would you want to know what web browser we use,
unless you want a quote on which one to get then i would say get firefox for userbilty,
(you can do quite alot with firefox if you know what your doin)
for just easy browsing get IE6, IE7 or msn explorer.

I like using the Portalbe Version of FireFox because I can launch it from my portable hdd, usb drive on any computer and it does not require any installation(except when you install into the pen drive). The best thing about it is that is saves all your bookmarks, settings, visited, webpages, etc

Personally I prefer Firefox 2.0, but if your looking for a little more stability you might want to try Firefox 1.5.0.8.

On win I use Opera or Firefox 2.0

I use Crazy Browser, which basically uses the same files as IE6 except it supports tabbed browsing, which is the main reason I use it. I don't know how people browse without tabs. "Once You Go Tabbed, You Never Go Back", lol
