Can any one help me....sorry i am new to this....i just got SwapMagic 3 plus and i tried to burn two different games....when i start up the program i get to the load screen and then i put in the burned disk ( Fujifilm DVD+r) by using DVD decrypter and Nero....when i hit X and try to load the game is gives me in blue wrighting NOT A VAILD PS DISK....can any one help me.....tks
Did you swap your backup into your PS2 (via flip-top lid or slide-tool), or did you eject and load your backup in? If you pressed eject, Swap Magic is expecting an original PS2 disc as a TOC refresh, and will give you such an error.
sorry i used the slide tool and did what they told me to do by putting in the dvd disk and then used the slide tool to open the tray then put in the copie and pressed x
Maybe you could switch the media you're using (i use sony DVD+r and they work great). Also maybe don't use nero, just use DVDdecrypter. That's what i do and never had a problem.
When the screen comes up to load the program thats when i use the slide card and put in the copie right? just because it shows that it goes to a swap screen and i have never got that far...sorry for all the ?s i am new to this......
i have seen people using Fujifilm DVD+r and they said they work great....can you help....per what i have put down mine are not working....i dont know what i am doing wrong......PLEASE HELP
These fujifilm dvd+r`s does it say made in japan on the package as these would be the good ones that use the Taiyo Yuden dye,Also you might wanna try a dvd-r disc on these games as some ps2`s don`t load dvd+r`s that good but they load dvd-r`s fine, even if you just try a couple of dvd-r`s to see if it makes a differance.
Movies are a differant format than the ps2 games and will basically load in any ps2 without a modchip of any kind and also in dvd home players with just about any brand of dvd media, but ps2 games if not on good media will give trouble loading as this format is harder to read for the ps2 when doing backups, the ones that you have that are made in taiwan are not very good quality but will work for movies, but you should try the fujifilm ones that say made in japan as these are much better qaulity[Taiyo Yuden dye] or try a couple of disc from another brand like maxxell or verbaitim as people and members have had good luck with these brands,it does make a big differance in game backups to use good qaulity brand of dvd and will also put less strain on the laser which will make the laser last longer as it doesn`t has to read as hard as it would with a lower quality brand of media.
