hi i have a qusetion if i download a ps2 game iso fromat is there any why i can make it a msd fromat because dvd decrypter only take msd formats or how can i make a good copy with an iso format in what program ect. can somone ply help me out thanks
DVD Decrypter can write with .iso files just fine. In fact, DVD Decrypter can write with pretty much any image file just fine. The .mds files are only descriptor files that contain disc metadata, like a .cue file does for a .bin image. You don't need the .mds file.
yeah u do, it happend to me once. u need to send a cue sheet or something to dvddecrypter to enable it to burn the iso if you dont the program wont let u burn, though if u dont have an mds u can just make one from the program itself =)
You can uncheck the create mds file if you want in tools>settings>ISO read mode and you will see the [ Create MDS File ] checked, just uncheck it and press ok,now you will just get a iso file and no MDS file, works for me pretty good that way.
Ginsu's right, you can burn directly from .iso. make sure you have the latest version, i think it's 3.5.4.0. i remember earlier versions would look for the .mds if you tried to burn from .iso.
I have tried to back up ps2 dragon b-z 2 and the game will only load to the ps logo then it seems to freeze. I am using dvd decryter and a ned burner. I am reading iso files to harddrive on pc then writing iso to 4.5 gb dvd. What else to I need to do to obtain a working backup disc? I have a flip top and boot disk.
Yes you can just use the iso image file itself with burning softwares that do iso files, and dvd decrypter makes a mds file and a iso file together as you make a image file and just use the iso file only if you like it will work ..
Dvddecrypter is no longer updated, for copying i use it with anydvd and at the moment i don't have problem copying games. to burn i use img burn, that is the little brother of dvddecrypter, it is the update of dvddecrypter but it can only burn because the creator of dvddecrypter had some problem with copyright laws and so he has been obliged to make the software without decrypting funcion.
