Unhappy Help needed regarding M3 Adapter

Hi Guys, I would really appreciate some help.

I bought a second hand NDS about a month ago. The NDS came with M3 Adapter and until a couple of days ago everything was fine, it played any NDS Rom without problems.

A couple of days ago I started a game, turned off the NDS, then started a different game and turned it off again. When I turn it on now all I get is a white screen. If I remove the M3 Adapter I get the NDS options page, I don't have a NDS cartridge to make sure, but I'm guessing the NDS itself is fine.

I installed the E19 beta fireware a week or so ago so I could play New Mario, but had play other games after that without a problem. Because it was second hand I'm not sure what was done to the NDS in terms of loaders. Nothing else was supplied apart from the M3 adapter so I'm guessing "WifiMe" or "FlashMe" was used.

As I said, everytime I turn the NDS on all I get is a white screen, I've tried everything I can think of with no result. My knowledge of the NDS is not wonderful, so everything I've tried is pretty basic, ie taking out the SD card, trying to (unsuccessfull) reinstall the e19Beta fireware.

If anyone can help I would really appreciate your time. And if this is in the wrong forum, I apologise and please feel free to move it.

Thanks!

Try the DS with the M3 and without the SD card. Then try the SD card in a card reader and check if the data is still there. Back it up and try reformating the card. Next, try a GBA game and a DS game (you can buy some for cheap at gamestop, or if its slow and you ask nicely, they may let you test some).

When your done, post your results here, but chances are, your M3 is dead.

I was reading the NDS Patcher List: Compatibility Lists And hardly any games are compatible. Whats the point? I thought that It claimed all NDS games work.

My M3 wont even work anyways and how do I update the pass key 2. I read the .doc file, but I don't have any of those games in that list.. just new mario brothers and brain age.

I've got the m3 adapter and it works with all ds games i got. i do not have one that doesn't work. i just updated to e.21 and no problems. i updated because when i dumped my new Mario it wouldn't play. after i updated it works great.

as for the ds with white screen. i had the same thing happen to me. i bought an m3 adapter (used... big mistake!!!) and it worked good for about a week. and then it had problems reading the sd card. to get it working i had to blow air into the sd slot on the m3 like i had to with the old nes game to keep the nes from flashing on-off-on-off. after a week of doing this to get it working it died (shorted out) after that it just gave me white screen of DEATH. after i cried and buried it in the back yard, i broke down bought a new one from *******.com and it works great!!!! should have done that in the first place... hope this helps!!!
