Ripping games without a BBA?

Well iv seen the programs out there using the viper with the BBA. However i assume that 80% of gamecube owners dont have the adapter. I was wondering if its possible to rip the games through the parallel port of the viper chip?

There is no way that that would work with an unmodified(and we don't know if/how the viper can be modded) viper, so the short answer the long answer is maybe, but it would probably cost more than a BBA for slower speeds. But I could be wrong .
