Modding Panasonic Q Gamecube DVD Player

I have one of the Panasonic Q (JAP/USA & Multi DVD region modified) (Panasonic)
Japanese NTSC

The unit is multi region modifified.Jap en us original game plays it with no problem.No pal games
It plays also alle dvd movies from alle regions.
I have mod the cube with the viper.The motherbord is a normal rev.A.
I have install all wires,But there is no Lid sensor.So i do not know where toconnect theme

Purple Wire: This wire appears to be the harness wire that goes to the GC mainboard telling it the "bypass" state of the lid sensor... it gets it's information from the BLUE wires and bypass plugs hooked up during a Viper GC module installation. If this wire is disconnected, the console will boot to the GC menu, and if you select Play Game it will show a "?" on the screen even if an original GC disc is seated on the drive spindle. However, if you reboot the unit holding down the lid sensor (to replicate what this wire does) then the GC will boot directly into the game disc on the drive spindle as normal.

So that is the problem.
The viper starts but it hangs on the start screen no disk open and nothing working.Whene i turn of the viper de cube works normal.
Who knows where connect the Purple wire????

It must go. I think the mob is just a rev 1 from nitendo everting looks the same ase normal cube.I have connected alle wire.But no lid sensor.These contact points must some where.Only i can not find theme.The drive looks like a ps2 tray are like a stand alone dvd tray

I pretty sure that some ppl with panasonic qs have modded them although it isn't recommended and there is no installation instructions for them.

i dont think you would actually need the lid sensor if your using the new bios since its no swap.

Yeah, how does it go with the 1.0 Cobra?

If you get it work, get a tutorial up for it! I'de love to mod my Q.
