Guys... Don't get me wrong...

I'd really want to have my PS3 play MKV+(SRT/SUB) right off... It is a matter of time - be patient.

For external USB (HDD) AVCHD playback you have to have the structure in this format:

X:\AVCHD\BDMV\INDEX.BDM

where AVCHD can be any-folder-name. multiMAN will rename it to "AVCHD". Did you use "Sony Playstation 3" button in multiAVCHD?

If it doesn't play from the internal HDD (when you copy it to the games folder) then there is something broken with the structure.

You don't need multiMAN if you have only one folder called "AVCHD" in the root of your USB HDD. You can play it directly from the XMB / VIDEO / AVCHD.

Yes, i did use the Sony PlayStation 3 option, but the problem is that it does not show my movie when i connect my usb hdd (X:\AVCHD\BDMV...).

I have some more movies that i want to put on ps3's hdd, so i will test it later, i haven't a PC anymore.

i have a few games that theres no covers for i made my own 260 x 300 png covers and named them the game id and put the covers in /dev_hdd0/game/BLES80608/USRDIR/covers and they will not show up.. any idea why?

First of all great manager Deanrr

I have a question regarding the usage of avchd playback. When i convert a MKV to avchd with tsmuxer i get a high black bar on the bottom of the screen. Normaly its a smal bar on the bottom and top. I really don't know what i'm doing wrong. Playing the AVCHD on the computer everything is ok with the video.

I tried this with different MKV files

It happens because your MKV files are not AVCHD/Blu-ray compliant. The video resolution must be PRECISELY 720x480, 720x576, 1280x720, 1440x1080 or 1920x1080. Nothing else. Your videos are probably 1280x5** or 1920x8**, which is not a FULL frame and in bd-player mode the PS3 DOES NOT center the image but TOP-aligns it.
