This weekend wodedev has shared a new video showcasing the New Super Mario Bros. running unpatched on the Nintendo Wii via Wode.
To quote: Back to back testing of NSMB from a DVD backup (4.7GB ISO) and a WBFS formatted SD card (350MB). The ISO used in both Wodes is unpatched, the BCA data fix is handled by Wode.
Slipping into December is disappointing but Wode hardware has to be perfect before we will let it ship. Some missing tracks meant a PCB respin & we took the opportunity to improve connector placement.
By way of compensation there's a new video of two Wodes playing NSMB back to back. These are pre-production Wodes & have a couple of wire fixes on the main board
The Wode on the right is in "Flat Mode" & NSMB is running from a back up disk. ISO size 4.7GB. The Wode on the left is running NSMB from an SD card formatted with WBFS. WBFS image size 350MB.
No ISO was patched during the making of this movie :)
