May 11, 2007 - Atari has confirmed it's bringing Tamagotchi Party On! - the first ever 3D game featuring the world-famous virtual pet - to European Wiis in August. Developed by Namco Bandai Games, Party On! is a multiplayer party that turns the Tamagotchi Planet into a giant 3D board game full of Wiimote-waving mini-games that players must work their way through to become the Tamagotchi President.

Players choose their favorite Tamagotchi character and level them up by completing mini-games. In addition players earn in-game currency called Gotchi, which then can be used to buy new items to customise their character with.

Tamagotchi Party On! is currently pencilled in for an August release. We'll be sure to bring all you virtual pet fans more info near that time.
