This is interesting to me personally I've been wondering about this for quite some time now, as I am someone who has been receiving an education for a degree in this area.....but I couldn't help wondering if it was REALLY necessary!

I already know what they "teach" me in class....and the only reason I have not yet submitted my DEMO reel to any developers (1rst, and/or 3rd party) was because I was working under the assumption that a degree was a quintessential aspect of attaining this career choice....I know Insomniac studios DEFINITELY looks at having a degree as a major PLUS... although granted this was not a U.K. division, or related to the man in the article!

Maybe I will send my reel to Mr. whatz itz from the article and see if I can't get an earlier-than-expected entrance into my DREAM JOB!!!!! (regardless, I will ALWAYS go to school for the rest of my life....even after I start my career; provided there are subjects I'm interested in tackling! and there are quite a few!!! )
