Tecmo announced today that its PlayStation 2 port of 'Rygar: The Battle of Argus' will not ship today and has been delayed until February 3, 2009.

To quote: If you've been waiting six years to play Rygar: The Battle for Argus, what's another couple months, right? Today Tecmo announced it is delaying the PlayStation 2 port until February 3, 2009. The game was supposed to ship today.

The Battle for Argus is a Wiimake of Rygar: The Legendary Adventure - which was itself a reboot of the Rygar franchise that had lain dormant since its 1980s roots in arcades and the NES.
