Review: Rogue Warrior Video Game by Bethesda Softworks

Rogue Warrior for PS3 and XBox 360 is one of those video games where the cover looks really good, but the storyline and gameplay is fairly mediocre and repetitive.

In every single mission you basically either track down or blow something up. There's really no point in this nor any real value or advancement in the game unfortunately.

The Controls are similar to nearly every other shooter, and the weapons are the same in every level.. there's never anything that changes other than the levels themselves.

You are basically a US Black-OPs solidier in the cold war and you do top secret missions in the Soviet Union and gather Intel.. other than that, it's run and gun.

This game is short and very easy. The enemy AI is the same everytime: shoot, duck, shoot, duck.. there's no other movement based on what the player does, so in turn that cause repetative AI too.

One can only hope that the next one, if it is made, improves upon this along with better AI and unique weapons.

I think this is based off the book with the same name. It is too bad that this game is so lame.
