Well you have to remember that we live in America. In America, parents let the TV and random X game system raise our kids. Our lives are too busy to have to pay attention to things like 'Rated
R' in movies and '
M for Mature' in games. We're too lazy for all that so...ban the game

. It's a sad deal but in the end it
IS true. Most parents can't deal with the added work of paying attention to what their kids watch or listen to. Makes you wonder why they had them at all. Fact is if the parents are responsible enough they can prevent their children from ever playing such a game (in their home, some other kid's house is fair game

), but don't expect that to happen. I have been playing Socom since day one. Lord knows I
HATE having to deal with all these kids every day and night and now that it's summer...ugh. I like many others have a V-chip on all my tubes and my kids only watch what I see fit according to their age. I'm their father, it's
MY job! Don't need rich guys in suits to decide these things for me
I'm more than capable. If these kids had parents that would read the labels and have more
responsibility we'd have none of this to worry about. Unfortunately I fear we'll never see that day therefore, the government will have to do it for them

.
