    Nintendo Wii StartPatch v4.0 for HomeBrew Firmware 4.0 out!

    Aquilino released a sysmenu patch dubbed StartPatch for the new FW 4.0, which allows for installing system menu hacks for PAL and NTSC/USA Nintendo Wii consoles.

    It also has a disk update blocker and will be similar to [Register or Login to view links] with a fix install.

    From what firmware does this have to be ran and what about next firmwares can anyone have a look at it? Other than that it says it can actually brick your wii so i guess ppl should just stick with the channel thing that is the alternative to twilight hack for newer versions (http://www.ps3news.com/forums/wii-ne...ii-105334.html) that just got released.

    everything you do to your wii that doesn't come from Nintendo can brick your wii if you don't know what your doing, or if any error or any file get corrupted during installation!!! Well even Nintendo software can brick your wii but hey that's the beauty of it!!

    Ive installed it and runs nice without problems.As i sayed it will be extremely similar to Starfall.And it only works on FW 4.0.

    The SD Card exploit does nothing have to do with Starfall or StartPatch.Means even if you wait for this new exploit it will not magically lead into mor seceured sysmenu patches.It is only a exploit.This ar two different things.
