May 3, 2007 - Bungie has launched a competition that will see one lucky Master Chief fan getting their very own emblem design slapped into http://xbox360.ign.com/objects/734/734817.html.

Announcing the competition on Bungie's website, community manager Frank O'Connor said that Halo 3 artist David Candland realised how cool it would be for one Halo fan to design an emblem that would be included in the final game.

"Remember, we're looking for something cool and original," explained O'Connor. "Maybe your Halo clan has a cool original logo, but this will be used by folks outside of your clan too, so don't send us something you don't want others to use. And obvious as this sounds - don't send us one you made in Halo 2 please. We have those already…"

As well as being original, there are a couple of other rules to abide by too: for a start, they should only consist of two colours and, obviously, not be offensive either. That's our giant wanger submission nixed then. You can read the full list of rules by heading over to http://www.bungie.net/News/content.aspx?type=topnews&link=emblemcontest.
