The father of the PlayStation, otherwise known as Ken Kutaragi
, has landed a new job at multimedia firm Kadokawa Group Holdings as outside director.
His new position will be secured at a shareholder meeting scheduled to take place on June 22.
The firm said it is aiming to tap into the former Sony exec's "international business sense," according to an IGN http://ps3.ign.com/articles/870/870908p1.html.
Interestingly, Enterbrain publisher Famitsu is united under the vast corporate umbrella of KGH. It seems Kutaragi isn't ready to take leave of the industry just yet.
