Hello PS3 News. intermediate noobe DxLr8u joining your vibe, may it be en enlightening venture. i'm out looking for your recommendations on the Do's and Don'ts to JailBreak my OFW 4.31 mid (not the fat or the slim) PS3.
i saw a YouTube vid showing ALL formats of games being played on a single PS3 system. first ..is that BS or true? second ..when PS2 came out battling Xbox for top spot, i thought this was a no brain er for the simple fact that all that money i dropped in my PS1 game library wasn't becoming instantaneously void and worthless. when it was PS3 vs. Xbox360, my only question was can we still play the PS2 and PS1 format games, the answer i got was yes.
now $399.99 + tax, 2nd controller and $59.99 per game ($99. + for some) was i little hard to come up with. so when i was finally able to get one (4 months ago), i was/am crushed to find i cant play them in my PS3. i'm told its the slim, but the slim i saw at my buddies was half the size of mine with a topload slide cover CD tray.
I've still got my Xbox and my PS2 because of the ridiculous amount of $$ the game libraries have sucked out of me over the years. So now i got the PS3 (thinking the old games will tide me over until i can catch up and can afford the new games for it.) and its a wonderful piece of technology that is nearly become a glorified paperweight. all feedback welcomed!
