Guide to Extracting Security Sectors, Game Images, and Burning Game Backups
    by: out4it

In order to follow this tutorial you must have your samsung drive flashed with the xtreme0800 firmware and recognized by windows.

First off you will need to get the following programs used in this tutorial.
    1) DvdInfo
    2) IsoBuster
    3) Isobuilder (Included in the Xtreme Package)
    4) CloneCD

Once you have all of the above listed programs we can begin...
    1) Extracting a Security Sector
    1) Insert Game and wait for windows to recognize the disk. (My 360 Dvd-Rom is labeled J: ) (see figures 1.0 and 1.1)
Figure 1.0 (below) (Disk Not Inserted)

Figure 1.1(below) (Game Disc Inserted and Recognized)

    2) Now that we have the game recognized by windows we can get to work! Open up DvdInfo and make sure that your Xbox 360 dvd-rom is selected on the left as shown in figure 2.0 below. (My Xbox 360 dvd-rom is J: )
    Figure 2.0 (below)

Now that we have our Xbox 360 dvd-rom selected we will click the downward arrow beside the "ADVANCED COMMANDS" box and click on "send custom command" as shown in figure 2.1 (below)
    Figure 2.1 (below)

Once we have clicked "Send custom command" as shown above in figure 2.1 we will now have a window slide out to the right of the original window with some other options as shown in figure 2.2 (below)
    Figure 2.2 (below)

Inside the "send custom command" window you will need to insert the following into the CDB Structure.
It is very important that you follow this part closely and very exact as if not the security sector will be invalid.
You will be entering four custom command sets so do not close out of dvdinfo!!

For the first custom command set in the CDB Structure you will enter the following
    AD 00 FF 02 FD FF FE 00 08 00 01 C0 as shown below in figure 2.3 (below)

Click send and now we will enter the second command set in the CDB Structure
You only need to change the value in the field "CDB 10"
The second custom command set is the following
    AD 00 FF 02 FD FF FE 00 08 00 03 C0 as shown below in figure 2.4 (below)

Click send and now we will enter the third command set in the CDB Structure
You only need to change the value in the field "CDB 10"
The third custom command set is the following
    AD 00 FF 02 FD FF FE 00 08 00 05 C0 as shown below in figure 2.5 (below)

Click send and now we will enter the fourth command set in the CDB Structure
You only need to change the value in the field "CDB 10"
The fourth custom command set is the following
    AD 00 FF 02 FD FF FE 00 08 00 07 C0 as shown below in figure 2.6 (below)

We are now finished sending the commands and must save the file! In order to save the file look in the main window to the left for the paper and pencil icon which is circled in figure 2.7 (below) and click it and choose the directory and name your file accordingly, when it prompts you to "Please enter a size to save it should be set at 2048 and click ok.
    Figure 2.7 (below)

Congratulations! You have just extracted a security sector!!
Now moving on to our next step extracting the game from the disc. YOU MUST EJECT THE DISC AND REINSERT IT TO CONTINUE. Please do so now!!!!!

    Extracting Game Image From Disc

    1) Once the Xbox 360 Game is recognized by windows shown in figure 1.1 (below) open up DvdInfo
    Figure 1.1 (below)

It is very important that you follow this part closely and very exact as if not the extraction will not work.

For the custom command set in the CDB Structure you will enter the following
FF 08 01 01 as shown below in figure 2.8 (below)

Click send and now we will close out of DvdInfo.

    3) The Game Data is now visible for us to extract so open up IsoBuster and with your Xbox 360 dvd-rom selected you will see something similar to figure 3.0 (below)
    Figure 3.0 (below)

You will right click on the top item "CD" in my case and click on "Extract From-To" you will then be presented with a box as seen in figure 3.1 (below)
    Figure 3.1 (below)

For Xbox 360 Games you will insert exactly as seen above in example 3.1
For the LBA insert 3567872 and make sure you click on "User Data 2048 bytes/block for most sectors" for the extraction type then click on start extraction.
You will then be presented with a save window to save the game image..THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT!!! make sure that when you save it to your destination you save it as the filename "game.iso" as shown in figure 3.2 (below)
    Figure 3.2 (below)

Now the extraction process will begin... This will take awhile anywhere from 20 minutes to over an hour depending on your computer.

    4) Once the game image has been extracted you will have the file inside of your chosen save folder called "game.iso"
It is now time for you to copy the security sector of the game to the folder containing the "game.iso" file... once you have copied the security sector to the folder containing the "game.iso" file you need to rename the security sector to "ss.bin" So you should now have two files inside of your folder, one called "game.iso" and the other called "ss.bin" as shown in figure 4.0 (below)
    Figure 4.0 (below)

Now you will need to copy the following files ( "blank360.iso" "build360.bat" "IMAGE.dvd" ) from your "Xbox 360 Isobuilder" folder to the folder containing "game.iso" and "ss.bin"
So you should now have a folder containing the following files ( "blank360.iso" "build360.bat" "IMAGE.dvd" "game.iso" "ss.bin" ) as shown in figure 4.1 (below)
    Figure 4.1 (below)

You will now double click on "build360.bat" to execute it and a dos window will appear and your final game image will start being created!! This process will take about 10-45 minutes depending on your computer (as shown in figure 4.2 below)
    Figure 4.2 (below)

Once the process has completed the dos window will automatically close and you will be left with another file in your folder called IMAGE.000
You can now delete all files in your folder except for "IMAGE.dvd" and "IMAGE.000" as they are your final game image and are needed to burn your game.

Burning your Xbox 360 Game Backup
    1) Open up CloneCD and click on "File" then click on "Write from File" as shown below in figure 5.0 (below)
    Figure 5.0 (below)

You will now click the browse button (shown in figure 5.1 below) and navigate to your folder where the final game image is saved and select "IMAGE.dvd" and click "open" and then click "next"
    Figure 5.1 (below)

You will then need to select the dual layer DVD burner by clicking on it and then click "next" (shown in figure 5.2 below)
    Figure 5.2 (below)

You will then need to select the write speed of the burn I would recommend burning your Xbox 360 Backups at the 2x-2.4x selection to ensure quality playback. Then click "ok" (shown in figure 5.3 below)
    Figure 5.3 (below)

Your Xbox 360 Backup will now begin to burn and when it is done just click ok and remove the disc from the drive and play on a 360 with the xtreme firmware!

The screenshots are in this RAR file. There were to many to put here. These appear in order as used in tutorial (ie. screenshot 1..figure 1.etc)
