We upgrade from Rogers 95 gb to 150gb like a day before the MU takedown and were thinking of buying an MU account! That would have sucked. For like about a week before that though, I was able to download over a dozen 3d movies for our new tv that just arrived and our bandwidth is prob near the limit by now.

Seeing that things aren't looking good for us users, I may downgrade my Internet maybe to even something lower than 95gb. Maybe if everyone starts doing this, ISPs will start to stand up for file sharing sites

What made me MOST sick though was some sites / articles about this citing the sallaries and "lavish" spending of the MU top employees + listing all their assest - like luxury cars and their number plates! (To aparently make all the common Joes to turn against then in envy I guess.) Why nobody has listed the SAME for all the lawyers and content owners involved in this monster (oh pardon "Mega") process? Why don't we see listed all the yachts and vilas and other expensive crap THEY've made out of this??

thats show for us how can they destroy any big company like MU in second by there law .but this is not law :P MU is like a bank or mobile phone company you cant shutdown a bank because the admin of the bank or some member on that bank did illegal deal because there are other people have there money and stuff on that bank legally, or shutdown phone company its the same there are too many people are doing legally business depending on there server.

so how many other company or like us (our file) did effected by shutting down there service. if there are a law we and other big company must sew the federal agents.

    anyone check this anonyupload.com ?

I don't know if anyone else noticed this but fileserve has also disabled file sharing just like filesonic has, looks like my guess here (http://www.ps3news.com/forums/consol...tml#post406153) was right.

Thats too bad. Whats next ? Shut down the whole internet ?

I got to say it's a real head ache trying to download single file now since filesonic, fileserve and megaupload are gone.

There are also a lot of rumors suggesting that mediafire, rapidshare and couple of other file hosting sites are "mass" deleting files and accounts that relate to piracy.

It's the end of file sharing as we know it ...

    God bless torrents and P2P.

Usenet still there and for me that's most important. Don't mind paying for a subscription really.
