Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 DLC is Planned by Infinity Ward
Although it's not a big surprise, a recent [Register or Login to view links] has revealed that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 DLC is already planned by Infinity Ward.
Downloadable content is set to include online map packs alongside missions for the successful Spec Ops.
Additionally, Infinity Ward recently released a small (non-downloadable) update for the console versions containing new gamemodes dubbed 3rd Person Team Tactical, Team Deathmatch Express, and Mosh Pit.
Here are their descriptions, to quote:
"3rd Person Team Tactical
4 vs 4 in the 3rd person perspective with mixed game types such as Domination, TDM, etc.
Team Deathmatch Express
Regular Team Deathmatch with shorter intermissions in between matches
A random selection of any game mode. You never know what you're going to play."
I actually have and still do like the CoD matchmaking, It's uber fast and if you view the scores after a game then watch were those people fall in the next pretty much put every other person (score wise) between the two teams. Not all the time, but 70% of the time.
Aside from that, just think of it as a way to improve ones skills if you start the game and are getting pwn'd with like 0-5 or something then completely switch up your game be more sneaky or try a different payload. I like to think of it as a challenge.
I also own the game and all this hate seems a little off, the game is really great and its starting to look as most of the people complaining(MOST) dont own the game. MP plays fine and theres no lag, the experience is great, the game is even more fun than its predecessor.
Aside from the dedicated servers Ive loved the way you get better each time you level up. Faster knife kills, faster reloads, faster climbing is really cool and it really shows the difference with lower classes. Its addicting and the game rewards you all the time, for killing someone thats on a kill streak it rewards you, for running, crouching or proning, for using grenades for using any perk you get rewarded. Also care packages are insanely fun.
