The PC version of Batman: Arkham Asylum won't be released until September, but there are http://www.widescreengamingforum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=16567 benchmarks and a widescreen mode test available.

Widescreen Gaming Forum have http://www.widescreengamingforum.com/wiki/index.php/Batman_Benchmarking the tested version of Batman: Arkham Asylum offers native support for widescreen and surround gaming screen resolutions.

But while the field of view is increased in the game itself, the menus are cut in height.

The game was also test run at maximal graphics settings and different resolutions. The Geforce GTX 295 that has been used for the tests delivered more than 40 fps if the resolution is set to 1920 x 1200 pixels or below.

At 2560 x 1600 the framerate drops below 30 fps and at 5040 x 1050 pixels the graphics card only delivers about 15 fps. Besides that 18 combinations of detail settings, Anti Aliasing and Physx settings have been tested to find the best compromise between visual quality and performance.
