America's Army 3 Plagued with Server Issues, Disappointed Fans

America's Army 3 is supposed to be the best realistic Army simulation for gamers... and potentially a recruitment tool. Just a few days after it's launch the game was bombarded by fans.

Just when you thought there could not be any more bad news than the developers getting fired on the release date, server problems and fan complaints are flooding through America's Army forums.

To quote: A lot of fans cannot link their America's Army 2 account with the new one, so they are forced to create a brand new account and go through all the training again.

However the problem did not stop there. When players finish their training, there is no way to save their progress on the server. Players just have to keep doing the same boring training again and again, hoping the server will register their progress.

Server problems aside, there are more problems with the fans. The fans were promised amazing graphics built on the Unreal 3 engine but were disappointed when getting what is shown in the picture below.

There is already a online petition to change the texture, but we all know that online petitions means nothing to the developers... especially when the developers got fired already.

The army should stick with killing people, and get out of the videogame propaganda bussiness. I bet they sneak in frames telling you to go to the local recruiter during gameplay.
