The Actual size of a PS3 controller!

A new picture of the PS3 controller has surfaced, the picture shows the actual size of the controller.

Are they changing the controller cause of the lawsuit they were going through? Regardless im just happy there something different than the ps1 design for all these years, i felt they needed to step it up on the innovation side, but yea agree that the boomerang design looks wierd hope it handles well.

Thing looks like a piece of crap. My prediction is that it will be uncomfortable

yea i think many of these things will get broken looks easy to step on, i hope some good after market ones are created

with the legal issues they are going through for these dual shock controllers i seriously doubt we will see a closer design to the ps2 controller but you never know

Yes does look a little strange,something like a flying wing but maybe sony can redesign one down the road after this one has been out. :shades:

Well, I have a PS2>USB converter for my PC. It doesn't need to install any drivers, and seems to use the default joystick driver. If that's really the case, then a PS2 controller should work if they let anyones USB controller work. I was under the impression that you could always pick up a Logitech PS2 style pc controller and use it on PS3. If this is the case, we can use PS2 controllers.

The PSP has 4 too few buttons. It would only be usable for certain games. There may be a handful that utilize it, like the GBA's link to the Gamecube. I'm counting Final Fantasy:C... Chronicals, Animal Crossing, Metroid, and Zelda:4 Swords.

Don't expect much interconnectablility.

Im tellin ya what they will do, they will launch w/ that, ppl will buy lots of em for multiplayer etc... then 6mo-1yr later, they will sell the "classic" ps2 controller for it, and just roll in the $$$
