You need a custom system IOS with trucha bug to be able to boot Hombrewed discs.For FW 4.1 you need a cIOS60 and for FW 4.2 you need a cIOS70
First on DC2-3 drives No Backup softmodwise work. Because this drives do aditional securety checks.You need a Modchip on this drives to boot backups and get the disc information to the Wii MB.
Then every time install the RescueMii Core after that use Priiloader.If anything goes wrong with priiloader and you cant boot into any app then you still can use the RescueMii Core and the UUD's to Unbrick your Wii.

Hey man can you please help me? i bricked my wii with the try to downgrade it. it was almost working also the uloader, but i needed to patch it to let the usb work. after the patch it dont work anymore... can you please help me with this problem?
i have a LEF serial, with 4.2e on it. homebrew channel was installed.
when i now boot i can turn the wii on but i keep a black screen. no questions about pressing the a and then go to wii channel menu.
