Then I updated the ticket and tmd to be named as UUD but I had to change the game partition, the iSO itself and the crypted name of the game too to be fully displayed as "Universal Unbrick Disc"
And be sure you use an ORIGINAL GC Controller because we can't manage to boot into rescue menu with a 3rd-Party GC Controller.
How to Use:
• Extract and burn the image
• Turn on Wii and insert disc to auto boot WAD Manager

In maintenance mode I can access the Wii settings menu. This means I can copy game saves from the SD to the Wii. I can also boot games with no problem. What I can't do is access the SD symbol to install hackMii/HBC or similar direct from SD. I am not familiar with the indian hack so maybe that is an option. I was hoping to use the SSBB exploit and run HackMii from that but I only have access to the PAL disk and you seemed to imply that I need the US version? If I need the US version I will have to either burn a copy or buy one and use the drive chip.
I have a Wasabi V3 that I pulled from my other Wii and installed into the bricked Wii today. This is set to autoboot but It will not boot games in the recovery menu and nor will it boot the LCUDv3 disk. I guess this is because I dont have Trucha?
My options are limited but it seems as though there is still hope.
You should have installed the HBC with BannerBomb via SD card menu in Wii Menu but now you cant use in maintenance mode.
Problem is on FW4.2 you need the SD Card menu from the Wii menu out to use the Hackmii Installer and your only chance would be to use Indianer Jones and the Indiana PWNS Hack. But you need to install the hacked savegame via Wii settings menu. And im guess you cant access it or can you?
Last chance would also be to use SSBB US to boot it from Wii Menu and make use of the Smash Stack Exploit to be able to boot Hackmii installer and install the HBC and BootMii from there you can go on with modding and unbricking or the WAD Manager to install a new System Menu with IOS like Sys Menu 4.2 with IOS70.
But if the SD Card slot is deactivated in case of maintenance mod your out of luck.Because every thing else would be need a Custom System IOS to be installed and you can not install a Custom System IOS without the need of a Custom IOS like IOS249
I know you are busy but I am hoping you can advise me. I have a WII given to me that I believe may not have been softmodded ever but is part bricked. It did boot ok into 4.2E menu and played games OK from disk but came up with "wii system corrupt" when entering wii settings.
I could not locate a disk with 4.3e on it so I put it into maintenance mode and wii settings worked so I then thought maybe if i did a memory format it might help - wrong. Now it will not boot past health & safety screen. When i press "A" I get wii corrupt". It does still boot into maintenance mode where I can play games and access the menu.
In this mode the SD simbol dissapears so I can execute anything and wiiconnect23 is dissabled. Recovery mode does work. In RM I get blank screen with 4.2E in bottom right corner. If I put a normal disk in eg SMG2 it spins up but nothing happens. Not surprising as the wii is already 4.2. Could you please advise what might work for me?
You need a good modchip with autoboot function and then you need to boot it from Rescue Menu. After the game hase booted you can use the smash stack exploit to execute some apps like WAD Manager.
First if you have a NAND dump from bootmii then infectus can rescue your Wii.Just flash the NAND img back onto the chip.
Then you only can boot SSBB software wise if you have installed a custom system IOS with a DIP module and the abbility to boot DL disks like the cIOS from my RescueMii-Core.
The upside down HBC is caused in case of custom IOS 61.You need this IOS unmodded.
Its always good to install Custom System IOS's to be able to unbrick your Wii via Rescue Menu in case you got a brick.
And also you would be able to call the bootmii IOS from Rescue Menu to flash your NAND dump back and easy unbrick your Wii.
First your Wii is dead.Second without a custom system IOS you can not boot Hombrewed discs even not with a modchip.
There for my rescue discs dont work for you but without the Rescue Menu you have no chance to unbrick.
BUT your lucky man !!.....if you really have installed bootmii as boot2 just insert the SD card with the bootmii files on it, power on your Wii and hold down the "RESET" button.
Then bootmii should start and you should be able to flash back your NAND dump or if your lucky enough you maybe can start the HBC.
Never install a update from game or from Internet. And i need to know if you have modded your Wii or not.
Try to boot the Rescue Menu and see if it starts.
