Meaning, it's a lame update. I think Sony is packing in some extra changes under the hood with that "security patch".
The main reason for this update is the immanent release of the PSP GO! (1st October isn't it?) as you see all the first lot of features a few for that console specifically. The others like little features are to bring it in-line with the PS3 - such as renaming "Network Update" to "System Update", Grouping Downloaded Games, more theme settings (colors etc)

Eh, not really much in this update, but I do like that they renamed Network Update to System Update. Even though it really did not have to be changed. (But does make more sense)
