White and a corvette? If not a more interesting selection of promo cars for fans, why not at least better color/s. Nothing like a factory white paint job. A white paint job makes me think a car is a fleet or government car.
At one point wasn't it announced that 4 or 5 different cars were going to be available for promo? I remember a GTR and a Ferrari being among the choices.

I just can't understand Sony. First they tried to promote the upcoming PSP Go! as much as possible and announced that the long awaited Gran Turismo will be a "free" extra and now they also put a PSP 3000 bundle with the same game on the market.
In my opinion the PSP Go! is the last chance for Sony to motivate the 3rd Party Developers to keep producing games for the PSP system.
I'm sure Sony took a lot of safety measures as for example making the battery internal, so that homebrew on the PSP Go! won't be possible for a long time. The high rate of piracy was always an argument of the developers to stop producing new games. The most forceful (and of course very risky) way would be to completely remove the old PSP systems from the market and just distribute the new PSP Go!, instead of announcing new bundles for the old ones.

At least they are doing something to draw in more buyers. Gran Turismo is an awesome series and adding that to the PSP library should help boost sales. As X3nophon said though, piracy is a huge issue.
At some point though developers need to look for new ways to give people a reason to buy. To paraphrase Michael Masnick of techdirt, if you connect with fans and give them a reason to buy, you will continue to make money.
The hardest part of that statement for large corporations to understand is that the corporation no longer has the leverage in the situation. There's no longer the monopolies of the past 80 years in media, now the competition is fierce and cross-platform. TV competes with internet competing with console gaming competing with mobile gaming competing with cell phones... it goes on and on.
