So really its just a normal PSP with a face lift, no UMD drive and inbuilt flash memory, I was really hoping they would upgrade the GPU and CPU allowing it to be more powerful and offer better graphics, although I know this would disadvantage previous PSP owners but it would be better for the future of the console.

But what i really like about it is the blue-tooth and the 16GB internal storage. That's about 5 games if you have a lot of music and a couple of videos. Then its always expandable up to a theoretical limit of 32 GB which is always nice :)
this is good but what about all my umd movies and games i bought..
will there be a umd reader/burner made for the go?

I have to admit, my PSP is already UMD less, pretty much.
I still don't understand why anyone would buy this when the PSP slim is vastly superior. "Lets make people pay more for a system that won't play any of the retail PSP games out there, and rebuy (or at least redownload) all of their real games into an intangible DRM infested digital version and only be able to carry a handful around at a time."
Wow Sony is stupid.

I think it would be safe to assume its XMB would be locked down similar to the PS3 at this point, thats why I think they made this and will be pushing it.
