124w ago - This year Sony is streaming their CES International 2010 press conference live on the Internet at 4:15 p.m. PST Wednesday, January 6th (today).
For those unaware, the
International CES is the world's largest consumer technology tradeshow. It features 2,700 exhibitors, including companies who manufacture products or provide services for the audio, digital imaging, home theater, wireless, content, and gaming markets.
The press conference will be streamed live by
CNET as well as on
UStream.TV.
To quote: "Sony is set to debut many new products during the show, and with these live feeds you will be right there with us enjoying the debut of these new items.
Expect to see Sony all stars Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and President
Sir Howard Stringer, and
Stan Glasgow, President and Chief Operating Officer of Sony Electronics USA amongst others enthusiastically show off their product line for 2010."

I thought it was funny when Nigel said he would be in trouble is Sony made a magnum detector.
I think it was a Zoolander reference-if it wasn't forgive me because I don't watch the America's Top Model.
He paused waiting for people to laugh and no one got it...
I thought the joke was funny, but the fact that no one laughed and there was an awkward silence made it so much funnier.
Typically, Sony's keynote is usually less than awesome. The most exciting stuff happens during the convention where people roam around to Sony's booths. For example, last year at CES 2009, more footage was shown for Killzone 2 and InFamous. We can only hope that something interesting is shown on the floor this year.
I'm sorry to say, but there was almost nothing worthwhile mentioned of the PS3 in this conference, unfortunately. Other than what you said, I believe the only other PS3 reference was that it will be able to view 3D content with just a firmware upgrade (which is something that was mentioned a little while back). Oh, they also showed Nigel (a famous photographer) and two women watching video of a 3D Super StarDust HD on one of their Bravia screens, but nothing was really mentioned about 3D games specifically.
