I think this is probably the first game that pushes the PS3 to it's limits really taking advantage of The Cell Processor .
I'm thinking they can get even more from the ps3 though.. It's just reaching 3 years old!
I think you missed Killzone 2 then. since naughty dog and the creators from GT helped on it as well and used new techniques to get more out of the ps3 hardware :)
Just curious for anyone who has played the Multiplayer BETA. I logged in and connected to the server and joined a game. I could hear lots of people talking to each other (voice chat). So I grabbed my bluetooth Jabra headset ... the one that came with Warhawk ... but could not talk to anyone. I double checked and it was paired to the PS3 just fine ... but I could not get it to work in Uncharted 2.
So I figure this must be a situation of holding a button on the controller when I wanted to talk. Being that it's a BETA and the controller options do not display the controller scheme ... I began randomly holding buttons while in-game and displaying the score screen (displayed by the Select button). I noticed a speaker symbol appeared next to the names of people actively chatting but I could never get one next to my name no matter what buttons I pressed.
This lead me to believe that the headset (although being the one that came with Warhawk) is not compatible with Uncharted 2. So I went to my local Gamestop and purchased the Sony Playstation 3 Bluetooth headset created specifically by Sony for the PS3.
I have yet to try it because it was so late but figured I'd throw this question up for anyone else experiencing a similar issue and hopefully someone will have an answer.
If this new headset works tonight ... I will come back and post an update.
UPDATE - The new Sony Bluetooth headset works perfectly. That Jabra from Warhawk is just crap.
Once I changed the Audio settings to use the new headset ... that was it. Launching any game with headset ability worked.
