Update: According to Kotaku PlayStation spokesman Patrick Seybold has now stated:

"PlayStation has tremendous momentum coming out of E3, and we are seeing positive growth with more than 350 titles slated to hit across all our platforms, including many anticipated games from our publishing partners."

According to VG247 (linked above), Sony Computer Entertainment Europe has just issued a statement on Bobby Kotick's threat earlier today to drop PS3 and PSP support.

To quote: “We respect our third-parties’ opinions and their right to express those opinions but we will not be commenting on this story,” said an SCEE rep.

The Activision boss said this morning that his company may drop support for Sony hardware in 2010 or 2011 unless PS3’s price is cut.

Additionally, Wedbush Morgan analyst Michael Pachter has already branded Kotick's comments as “bluffing”.

I hope the price cut rumor in the previous post is true, PS3 shouldn't loose COD games.

Another excellent new for me (Previous was Splinter Cell is not coming for PS3)
Im are really tired of the shitty games released from Activision.

I like the Call of Duty games but for the other crap released from them (Guitar Hero, Spiderman, Rock Band, etc.) I can make the sacrifice of playing CoD on my PC.

I already have my PS3 so I dont bother if the price rises or lowers, specially if this makes that crappy companies stop releasing pousy games for the PS3.
