The data transfer is huge for me. I've been wanting to get a larger hard drive but had no way of transfering my data. Instead of buying a new system I wonder if I could insert my new hard drive into a friends system and tranfer the data then put the new one in to my own and activate it. Then my friend could do the same. Now if that works then this is awesome.

Plus, wouldn't be suprised if the 3.15 addresses the issue with 3.10 startup controller issues - but they're hardly lkely to admit it was their fault so don't expect this to be listed in the official change log!

File transfer sounds interesting, shame you *currently* need two ps3's to do it though - might have to hook mine up to my PC and have a look at what the PS3 is transmitting

I wonder what would happen if one:
1. performs a full system backup on PS3 (A) 2. transfers a locked savegame (say, Rockband, SF4) to a second PS3 (B) 3. restores full backup on original PS3 (A) Would we have 2 identical copylocked savegames on 2 diferrent PS3s A and B? That was impossible with copylocked savegames prior to this update... |

) is that they could start emulating M$ one day or another.
