You can call me stupid but the ps3 is kicking all the other consoles ass with all this great titles, the store is a dream come true. The features and the gaming experience is just something I never felt before in my gaming life. As a gamer Im really satisfied, I didnt get a chance to play god of war and brining those two titles remastered to the ps3 with throphys is something to talk about.
Now here is an interesting thought, would people buy remastered PS2 games with trophy support and does the experience by blupoint games on doing this port be translated to other games? I would enjoy a few select games ported with trophies and antialiasing as long as they could be played on all PS3s. Imagin a ICO-Shaow of the Colossus bundle, the posibilities would be endless ^_^

OMG this is epic!!! I hope they do this with other old first party games such as Crash Bandicoot, Gran Turismo etc...
And if they also did it with third party games like Metal Gear Sold, Grand Theft Auto, Final Fantasy. It would be amazing!

Woooooo.. These are nice news! Nice news indeed. I never played any of the god of war series because I never owned a ps2. Now I will have a chance to play them! :tup:
The interesting thing here is that they are giving us an HD (720p) game. This changes the whole idea of backward compatiblity. I honestly don't see why anyone would play a PS2 game if they own a PS3 and HDTV, PS2 games look really bad on new LCDs.
The idea if "remastering" old games, sounds great for old and new PS fans. I never had a PS2, used to have a old Xbox. Now that I'm back from the dark side, I would like to try those old PS2 games.

Maybe a cool idea for some of the triple A PS2 titles, but if they just start pumping out a bunch of old games with higher
resolutions and charging 20-30 bucks for them, that would just be sad.
These games need to have more than just higher resolutions to justify a re-release on PS3.
If higher resolutions is all you want i'm sure the could add that to the current PS3 through software along with backwards compatibility of course.

screw cross chat and stuff this is what we need to be getting more often. I'm lucky having the 60GB and still owning 1 and 2, but to have them upscaled ect.. going to be a happy christmas this year :D

Im a bit gutted to be honest, Once again europe gets screwed over! Sadly this has been confirmed to not be getting an EU launch this year. These are 2 cracking games that everyone should buy, The sweetener for me is trophy support and I reckon they are gonna be damn tough!
