Personally, I don't waste my time mindlessly wandering the Playstation Store. And to be honest, I think it's a waste of resources on Sony's end to put so much time and effort into something so trivial.

You are contradicting. If you dont want to wander mindlessly wouldn't you hope that sony would put resources into something like this? A convenient list of what you might be interested in.
