Not trying to slander firmware 3.10, but was browsing through the PlayStation Blog and saw someone mentioned that there might be problem playing some videos, which would have "This application is not supported" message. Just a word of caution.
TVNZ OnDemand was withdrawn from being available just prior to being released. Someone did catch the Screen shot of it in the TV menu, but was withdrawn quickly. So it doesn't work at present.
Also - Browser performance improved? Give me a break - trying going to www.facebook.com or www.twitter.com; its almost completely useless to use. Its very buggy with the textbox's and submitting data. They are indeed using different designed pages to what the PC browsers get.
They are just useless.
But then again on the plus side, it updated my Facebook status with a "purchase" from the Playstation instantly (even though it was only a demo i wanted).
Trophy related activities, particularly trophy comparison, is significantly faster. Comparing trophies used to take 30 seconds to a minute. Now it is nearly instant. Also, trophy list for games appears much faster than before.
Help!!! I've just installed the new update (3.10) and my BBC iPlayer has gone. In fact the TV category is missing. Is this intentional? I loved having the iPlayer and am really going to miss it if they've taken it away.
